How we test every toy — and how to keep them lasting.
KC Certified EN71 ASTM F963 BPA-free Batch-tested
Tested before it ships
Every Playkids product is made in Korea and clears KC certification first. We then re-test each batch against the standard for its destination — EN71 for Europe, ASTM F963 for the US — covering sharp edges, small parts, flammability and chemical limits.
Materials we trust
We use BPA-free plastics, non-toxic water-based paints and responsibly sourced wood and cotton. If a material wouldn't pass the “would I be happy for my own child to chew it” test, it doesn't make the cut.
Age guidance
Always check the recommended age range on each product page and supervise play — especially for toys with smaller parts. Age labels reflect safety, not just skill level.
Caring for your toys
- Wipe hard toys with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking electronics.
- Machine-wash fabric items on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag.
- Remove batteries before cleaning and store them out of reach.
- Check regularly for wear and retire any toy with damage or loose parts.
